    He played it safe a lot. Being a bit too safe doesn't show a lack of ring IQ. He respected Holy.

    I'd say his style of fighting in the Holyfield rematch was influenced by the judging of the first fight.

    Let's face it, he won that fight pretty easily, and could possibly have stopped Evander had he opened up more, but by doing so would have played into the hands of his opponent.

    That, to me anyway, is intelligent.

    Additionally, Holyfield performed much better in the rematch, but still lost on my card.
