But that aside, you still never answered the question as to why you're so obsessed with who hits harder?

    Fair enough.
Grant landed a big one in the second too, without much affect.

Personally a 7.5 for me :hey maybe not good enough to be an 8 but not as low as a 7.

    6 seems harsh. :!:

I'd put in around a 7 perhaps 7.5 somewhere in that vicinity. I think if you're getting much lower, you're not even discussing an ATG you're discussing why Shavers didn't go father in his career.

Certainly his chin held up for the most part, but it wasn't on the level of a Ali, and Holyfield. But fighters such as Tyson and Foreman have been down more than Lewis, but the flip side of that argument is they either got up (Foreman) or took much more punishment (in Tyson's case) before going down.

    I agree with all this.

Lewis chin was'nt the problem it was that his head was somewhere else when he got caught in his defeats.

    I honestly can't.

Based on what I know, the similarities strike me more than the differences.

I think a cautious Lewis would use his size and reach, and take a tentative decision win.

Lewis early as liston had non of the right tools except the punchers chance to beat Lewis, Lewis was better on the inside, outside even upside down, Lewis had the jab and knew how to use it better than anyone

Lennox Lewis, with the punchers he beat, the boxers he beat, with an overall avarage weight of over 225lb, is light years away from Sonny Liston and his 190CW-opponents.

Focused Lewis beat a good amount of good punchers, Liston beat nothing in the league of Lewis. Liston did not even beat fellows in the league of Lewis opponents. Absolute absurd to pick Liston on guess. He got that punchers chance of course and was a good boxer.

Have to give it to Lewis on his best day...think he would be just elusive enough to keep Liston away. I think if they fought five times Lewis takes 3 of them.
