Sonny Liston vs Ridddick Bowe

BTW, there is nothing factual wrong with my post, you just don't like the delivery...........and for Bowe, yeah he made some dumb moves after his career ended but is still kicking it in his fifties vs Sonny who is pushing Daisies from a OD in his early forties....

Also, Bowe picked up the WBO(?) belt after Holyfield and was still a top 3 fighter for the first Golata fight aka a force in the division......while Liston after Clay talked the talk but never walked the walk and was a non entity in the Big picture as far as Heavyweights were concerned......and Liston never ever redeemed himself from his two quit jobs, he never got into any serious Title contender state ever again and faced push overs instead .....and one of those push over laid him out cold.

 

Bowe was 28/29 years old, in his prime and had only been a pro for 7 years when he fought Golota.
Bowe never scored a win of relevance past the age of 29 so how are LIston's lack of accomplishments in his mid late 1930s when past his prime of any relevance?

The best fighter Bowe beat when clearly past his best were not even journeymen/gatekeeper level.

 

Interesting match up. Hard to pice together because Liston fought 2 SHWs in his Career almost as big as Bowe, and beat both obviously but they weren't on Bowes level.

The Bowe that showed up against Holyfield first time gives any heavyweight nightmares, thats all im going to say
