Sonny Liston put a policeman upside down in a dumpster in an alley in 1956.

Nobody likes being punched in the belly!
Would Liston's face look as bad as Marciano's did after fighting 37 years old Louis,38 years old Walcott ,or 33 years old Charles?

Yes he lost to the consensus greatest heavyweight of all time ,when he himself was past prime.

He lost against a undeveloped kid and I think that someone who is 32,33 can't be past prime unless he fought 100 times each year like Harry Greb.

Liston face didn't look good against Marshall and Valdes and what they were?
Were they good as Louis or Charles?

He floored him but before that he knocked him down with just punch while Liston couldn't do that with just one punch.
But Ingo beat him by 1st round kayo which Liston still couldn't, if he could why didn't KOed him out with one punch.
Yeah he fought so much surviving that Liston couldn't do anything and plus Liston blinded him.

    And what they were?
No more than journeymans until late 50s when there was no one that could be a serious threat.
But Ali toyed with him and beat him slowly like a drum, had he faced Frazier or Foreman I think Liston beating would be nothing to talk about.

Can you provide us with the photos you have of Liston after these 2 fights because I have never seen them?

I'm also absolutely certain you haven't either! Yes I'd say Valdes was as good as Charles, why? Because he beat him!

Top ten ranked men journeymen? Valdes was number 1 in 53 and 54, and no 2 when Liston beat him .

    This is your post.

"Ingo knocked Patterson with one punch."
    Care to change it?
If you and I were having a boxing match now instead of a one sided debate the referee would have been forced to step in and rescue you from taking further punishment! lol

There was no doubt about the decision, however. Judges Ely Caston and Sam Haller favored Liston 118-114 and 118-116, respectively. Referee Whitey Domstad scored it 119-112 for the winner and UPI agreed 115-113.

You haven't got a single thing right!

Yeah and never beat anyone except Charles who was overtrained for a fight.
Valdes was like Williams of his times, never won a big fight

Yes Ingo knocked Patterson with one punch but failed to finish him because he was not a good finisher like Liston.

He had broken jaw and you can find yourself that Valdes **** his eye and bloodied his nose.
When Charles was overtrained but he then got in fighting shape again.
No,Valdes was not even close to be good or great as Charles.
