This wouldn’t be competitive unlike the Foreman fight, the reason is that Liston’s fundamentals combined with the power would allow him to keep Lyle at bay and at a safe distance where the fight is less on a gamble, he’d be able to pick off the less well schooled Lyle and land that jab and set up powerful combinations at will, he’d time Lyle’s rhythm, he’s far more versatile.
Be it a punch up, a boxing match or combination of both during the fight, I think Liston has Ronnie covered off pretty well.
