Wasn't Liston knocked down 2 times by Marshall in their 2nd fight?
And both of these fights Marshall took on 3 days notice, because he was working his ass working blue collar jobs.

This guy has had at least three permabanned accounts before this. Serbianloudmouth, boxingismydream, CrouchStanceBoxing. I'd report him but the bloke is far to entertaining.

    Yes.
That opportunity came about seven months later in April, 1955, however, Marshall did boxing as a moonlight occupation. He had a regular job at a paint store. He used to take the day off work on the day of the fight, and reported for work the next day. For their second fight, Marshall received three days notice. Although the fight started out almost like a repeat of their first fight, Sonny was smarter this time. However, Marshall knocked Liston down in the fifth round. It may have been the first time Liston had been down in his career. But Liston got up, and Marshall, in what he admitted was a foolish deed, went all in for the knockout. It didn’t work. In the sixth round the referee stopped the fight after Liston knocked down Marshall for the fourth time.
The following year in 1956 they fought a third time. Liston’s opponent, Harold Johnson, had to back out of the fight due to a shoulder injury. This time Marshall took to the fight on six days notice. He said that he hated to take the fight on such short notice, but the date could not be changed. He was persuaded when they raised his fee from $750 to a thousand dollars. This fight was another tough one with action every second. However, Liston got the better of Marty that night and won a unanimous decision. Once again, Liston came to Marty’s dressing room after the fight and graciously said, “You know you almost had me in the seventh round.” Marshall wanted to fight him again but it never happened.

No newspaper reported that Liston was floored and he vehemently denied it all his life.
Action every second? Marshall ran all night!

Marshall did not win a round in their third fight.Do us a favour.Jog on somewhere else!

Liston was a pro boxer and that was his business and ocupation while Marshall was family man with full time work, it is big difference.
Marshall got 3 days, you got it wrong.

Yeah, it matters what Liston denied all his life like Chuvalo denied that Terrell and Patterson won, this is the worst argument I ever heard.
Liston denied blinding his two opponents and working with the mob too but is it true?
Then why Liston said to him you almost got me there?
You have very poor arguments my friend ha ha.

You are fool, I posted one article that confirms what I said.
And all about their fights was writen by the man I found on quora called Ralph Thomas who studied and watched fights for almost 70 years.
