Opinions I think Liston would brutally grind Sharkey down before stopping him in the 6th round. Sharkey would be a bloody mess. Unable to get past Listons jab, Liston will tee off on Sharkey at long range, and liston will outmuscle and overpower sharkey in close with his uppercuts and physical strength. Liston TKO 6
I see Sharkey being brutalised here,he was easy to hit, lacked both size and ,science, he gave Jeffries close fights but Jeffries did not have a battering ram left jab at the end of a telescopic reach, mid rounds bloody ko ,with only Sharkey's undoubted grit and, courage allowing it to last that long.
