Do you mean,,,,,,,,,,Pee Wee,,,,??? Sonny was spending alot of time between the International Hotel and Sahara Hotel in those last days. Sonny didn't work for a 'loan-sharking ring'. He was more-or-less, a 'free-lance' collector for some 'lenders'.
Pee Wee? I'm not sure, possibly.... Is he african-american? I saw a reply to a post here a little while back. It was a photo of just his face. And someone wrote beneath it that this was the gangster or loan-shark that Liston was running around with. I thought, at first glance, it was Frank Lucas... but it's not. And now I can't seem to find the thread. It's driving me crazy! Any ideas?
Well, I believe Vegas based...... However, if there is a Philadelphia based man you know of, that would interest me as well. Working on a paper about organized loan-sharking and collecting at that time. So anything helps. I'm particularly interested in liston, but not about the old mafia guys (carbo, etc.) Looking for african americans that Liston may have ran with, worked for.
