It has been well documented that Marciano complained about his eye-contamination during the
fight.It is well-known that Marciano alerted his corner about his eye-contimination during the fight.
This is as well known as the fact that Marciano knocked out Walcott in the 13th round.Any enquiry
into this matter will tell you this.
The same goes for Ali's declaration of Liston as being one of the greatest heavyweight-champions
in history.All you have to do is enquire about Ali's opinion of Sonny Liston anywhere on the internet.
If you claim not to know these facts you are either lying through your teeth or you are incredibly
uneducated about boxing.

Marciano just said that he had his eyes vision problem then after the fight he claimed he was blinded but he did not show any kind of eyes problem.
Marciano never complained and did not accused anyone during the actual fight.

Ali never said Liston was one of the greatest fighters only that he was awesome and powerful athlete.

Yes he did ! Ali was adamant that Liston was one of the greatest heavyweight-champions of all time.

 

Rocky informed his corner of his contaminated eyes.In Mike Stanton's excellent biography of Marciano (Title :Unbeaten-The Triumphs and Tragedies of Rocky Marciano ) he describes Marciano shouting at his corner '' I can't see.My eyes are burning.Do something ''.
The author then stated that in the following rounds Marciano was having such a difficult time with his infected eyes that he actually backed away from Walcott.
This is almost certainly the only time in Marciano's career that he backed away from an opponent.
Ringside observers wondered why Marciano seemed to become unstuck despite not being hit by any one particularly big punch.It's all there in chapter 12,pages 203 to 205.

Man, the Sonny Liston vs BoxingFan rivalry has dissapointed me. It's been what, a month since it had first begun ? And they don't even bother interacting with each other anymore. Some McVey vs Mendoza rivalry I thought this was.

Pugguy vs BoxingFan seems promising, though.
