Sorry, it's true. Check the vid I posted above. Tupac never got into any kind of criminal **** until he got famous, which was purely for the purpose of protecting his rep. Prior to that he was a back-up dancer for Humpty-Hump. He was a fake ass gangster, there's no doubt about it. And, as the vid I posted shows, he was definitely at least a little bit gay.

He's also massively overrated as a rapper. Good, but not one of the best.

Sonny would have picked up that whole group, and dropped then in a garabage dumpster.

sorry? no need to "apologize". I think he got arrested before when he was young.
tupac use to get shot all the time. a "phony" wouldn't be able to get shot and live. how was he gay, either? he got ***** all the time

I'd say he's top 5 with GZA and biggie being the goats

Was there a reason for the quotations?

No, he didn't. He was participating in school plays while his family were the ones doing the dirty work and getting into legal troubles.

He was shot twice in his life. He survived the first, and was killed the second.

You still haven't watched the vid I posted apparently. This was the real Tupac, prior to getting caught up in his own "thug" image and completely contradicting those views by sexually assaulting women. Talk about a fake.

You're entitled to your opinion. I wouldn't even mention him among the best, and that has nothing to do with his fake ass persona.

Sounds like you got some bias.

Yes, he participated in school plays, and even rapped. You expect a young kid to be involved in that criminal ****? He didn't have to be, so he didn't.

I'm pretty sure he was shot more then that. I remember there was an interivew with snoop dog and other famous people who knew tupac personally, their response when he got shot was "again?"

EDIT- Please put the URL link up with a space or something i'm having trouble viewing it on the site

Mr. Cassius Clay did associate with some intellectual 'beatniks'.

Though he was somewhat 'square', he may have been a rounded edge square.

In 1963, he was reading poetry at 'The Bitter End' in Greenwich Village.

    March 1963

    'BITTER END FOR CLAY'

A gust blew through Greenwich Village / Last week for a day
When seven poets met there / To 'battle' the 'wind' - Cassius Clay

Poetry spouting heavyweight fighter, Cassius Clay, took a two-hour leave from boxing to
compete with a group of 'beatniks poets' in a poetry reading free-for-all at the The Bitter End'

'Says James Brown, Ali Eyeing $ Multi-Million Pact'

According to informed sources, negotiations are now taking place between
Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali and dynamic entertainer
James 'Mr. Dynamite' Brown for the usual boxing preliminaries at all of Ali's
    future fights.

Aides in both camps refused to confirm or deny the story, but it was learned that
both Ali and Brown hoped to cement the multi-million dollar pact before Ali fights
Zora Folley at Madison Square Garden on March 22.

If the deal is completed, it will mean that James Brown will bring his immense teen following into the area and 'furnish actual and potential live fans' for boxing events.
Until recently, boxing has suffered from small live attendances.

James Brown was asked about the risk of Ali losing his title in the ring, Mr Brown stated,
'that we will take all precautions in preventing a defeat'. Brown's' associate further mentioned, 'it is more important for young kids to see Mr. Ali and Mr. Brown, than
anything else, as no one cares who Ali fights. As long as he wins, that is our main
concern, because if he loses, our pact together will be worth 1/10 (one-tenth) in revenue.'

Yeah, Sonny was a Rennaisance Man, a cultural treasure. He taught as an adjunct at Berkely in S.F. in the 60's.

But on a more serious note, I like Sonny way more than Ali.
