Sons of Cuba is a 2009 documentary feature film set in the Havana Boxing Academy. It follows the stories of three young hopefuls through eight months of training and schooling as the prepare for Cuba's National Boxing Championship for Under-12's.

This film looks awesome. Check out some of the training these kids go through. Full contact sparring with no headgear, tough little ****ers. Some really good boxers The films not getting a wide release in the UK but has 100 screens in Cuba. Awesome music as well. http://www.sonsofcuba.com/

Looks good. Anyone know why all cuban boxers are black? Does the govt. put them in there because there naturally good or what? I've never seen a spanish or white cuban in any amateur boxing videos they have.

Sometimes I forget these Cubans are even human. Seeing these makes you realize that these kids do struggle to be what they are in the olympics

It's because most Cuban Boxer's are from the Oriente Provence, where most Cubans there are Black.

The joke is that Castro sent the White people to Collage and the Black people to the Gym.
