Sons who where better boxers then Dad

    In this context I mean dads who won a belt...of course many guys have been decent pros and had sons who exceded them..but I mean fighters who won a belt...have any ever had children who exceded them...I can't think of any...

    Must be numerous Latin Ameircan fighters whose dads took a shot at boxing when they were young.

    Was Tito's dad a fighter?

    My grandad was a friend of Brian's dad jack - my grandad said Jack was the much better fighter - he said Jack would've wiped the floor with Brian - grandad said Brian was just a drunken thug from Blackpool :lol:

    Yea I know about guys like roy jones and all...my point is you don't see many guys who held titles who have sons who are better. Could be a numbers thing...but might also be a heart thing....did Floyd Sr win a belt? He would be a pick given his son mayweather jr.

    Didn't Jerry Quarry's dad Jack box some in his early, impoverished, rough and tunble early days? I'm certain that Jerry was the vastly superior boxer to his dad.
