Getting his bell rung against Bradley? Bradley is not a big hitter by any stretch of the imagination. Khan is an elite fighter at 140 and has called out the big boys, he is gonna have to fight them. which i'm sure will give you no end of laughs. Khan is all of a sudden the money name and already being talked about as a HBO PPV fighter.

paulie has fast hands but landed 0.24% of his punches on khans chin, if maidana does catch him then he may knock him out but then again khan has decent power himself so he could knock maidana out

I don't think Khan has decent power.

I guess the real question is whether he is good enough to land flush on khan. It cannot be said for 100% that it would floor khan coz he doesnt seem to be wobbly in his last few fights. A lot of people think boxing has major problems these days e.g. paper champs, over protecting fighters etc but it can be said there is now a proble with boxing fans they seem to concentrate more on chins than actual boxing skills then complain why promoters protect fighters, such a shame...

He's easily got enough to trouble Maidana who has no movement and will just shuffle forward like a wanton mummy onto Khans straight right.

Flea, i'm surprised that you are pushing Maidana so hard considering how chinny he is.

I dont agree with this, Khan dealt ok with Kotelnik, infact he owned Kotelnik and Kotelnik beat Maidana. Khan is not as gung ho as he was earlier in his career either.

It will definately be interesting to watch just to see what happens if Maidana lands.

I dont think he owned Kotelnik. Khan done just enough, he also ran his ass off in the 11th and 12th rounds to avoid gettin hit.
Kotelnik is a late starter and that cost him, he just woke up too late in the fight and theres plenty of fighters who make that mistake.
It doesnt mean Khan will beat Maidana just bc Maidana lost to Kotelnik. Khans improving with every fight, whos to say Maidana doesnt?

I've seen three of his last four fights and haven't noted any obvious improvements, you?

Ive noticed he is still winning.
He`s doing what he has to do and thats gettin a result without the coach that everybody wants to work with. I imagine Maidana and Roach working together would be a better partnership that Khan and Roach.

His ability to knock over fighters up to a certain level isn't in question.

    Why? :?

Khan without Roach was going nowhere unlike Maidana whos gettin called up by the cream of the 140 div. So addin Roach would finetune his ability even more.

    Umm, eh?

Fighting Maidana currently has some upside for the 140 champions as his reputation (based pretty much solely on beating Ortiz) is in advance of his actual achievements. He'll probably lose again when he fights another halfway world class operator and then will lose some lustre.

I'm sure Freddie Roach would consider Khan to have rather more potential than Maidana, that's a bizarre statement.

Lmao, the guys a crude slugger, there's nothing you can do with that, he's got big punches and fights like a caveman. Miguel Diaz is his trainer, a second at the wildcard gym. I'm sure he's passed Roach's eye, and he's obviously seen what most have, he's a slugger, and thats all there is to it, no footwork, no movement, just Slugs, one after another.

Khan has the handspeed, that fantastic jab, the amateur pedigree, and the discipline to handle the Roach/Ariza fitness regime, he's a million times better in every department than Maidana, aside from punch power. Chin being equal lol.

And only you and Kotelnik seem to think Khan just about won the fight against him, winning every round of the fight isnt called just winning, its called a shut out.
