In less then 2 days, the biggest and most anticpated fight of 2009 will be over, every little bit of hype created and every article and post wrote leading up to this fight will be forgotten! We have, perhaps, the two most followed fighters in the world going head to head, both of them fight like beasts with their entire nation behind them, neither man wants to taste the bitterness of defeat again. But soon enough, one of them with have to... That fact alone is enough to make me want this fight to happen now, millions of people will be watching this around the world, Manny hasn't lost since 2005, and Ricky only ever lost to the best, neither guy is perfect, nor does one guy have a huge advantage in one area then the other. Forget who they beat, forget who they lost to, none of that will matter, just know that they are both warriors, and both come to fight! Its Going To Be War! :devil
Agreed, a crazy clash of styles. I remember when Morales-Pacquiao I was signed... it was just 1 of those fan fights that you just KNEW was gonna be great, there styles were to good not to explode vs each other, nobody predicted a **** fight, EVERYBODY said it was gonna be special & it was.... THIS is 1 of those rare fights were I feel the same, I will be in shock if this is not a very good fight, I expect a GREAT fight but will be shocked if its not at least very good. Cant wait. :happy
haha....HEINEKIN KEG, POLLO AND CARNE ASADA, GOOD PURPLE, AND PLENTY OF FRIENDS TO KEEP THE PARTY GOIN SAT NITE WILL DO IT FOR ME...THIS FIGHT IS GONNA BE A WAR...RIGHT NOW IM LEANING TOWARDS PAC BUT HATTON MIGHT JUST HAVE SOMETHING FOR HIM!
Haye-Klitshcko might be bigger, at least if Haye wins via KO, it will. If it's a borefest, a la typical Wladimir, this one is bigger overall.
Pac wins this one if it goes passed 9, just because of the difference in stamina. If its under 9...its a toss up. But thats just my opinion.
Yeah, its interesting that a lot of people talk about rickys stamina being bad, but I saw him bouncing around and jumping on Paulie in his last fight all night, until it was stopped in round 11, I think it was, and with all motivation and training with both guys for this plus all the fans watching, I really don't see it slowing down on either side.
Unfortunately yes all good things must come to an end. That said we have Clottey/Cotto and JMM/Floyd around the bend to soften the blow. Not to mention King Kermit makes his return against Alfredo Angulo in a few weeks.
sounds pretty damn good to me. i'm gonna be up at the boonville beerfest in mendocino, so i'm gonna miss it. i'm just gonna have to avoid hearing about it until sunday when i can watch a replay.
Wow I still remember how much I was anticipating for this fight when it was first announced. And now it's only 2 days away. Gonna to be an action filled fight. :bbb
