Let me, I know what I am talking/typing about. I am smart enough to realize 5'10 180 pound fighters like Rocky Marciano weren't modern sized heavyweights and couldn't beat modern sized heavyweights. I am smart enough to think on my own and not repeat something I heard other people say.

Doug Jones a 180 pound guy beat Ali and got robbed. Why couldn't a in shape Buster Douglas couldn't do it? Because Ali is your TV hero? Ali struggled with Jimmy Young and most people think he lost but you are telling me a in shape motivated Douglas couldn't do it? I guess somebody on TV tell didn't tell you that Douglas could ? Ken Norton beat Ali all 3 times according to Ali himself. But you are telling me a Buster Douglas who was motivated and in shape couldn't do it. Ali struggled with guys who could move. This is why you are a casual fan and most people here are casual fans. Everything you type is just something you heard somebody else say.

Well yes I am telling you he couldn't
The best Ali lost to none of them
The best Ali bullied Cleveland Williams (one of the best contenders in HW history)
    Embarrassed Sonny Liston (an ATG)
And Tortured Ernie Terrel (a modern sized HW with skill)
Buster Douglas was no where near as quick as Ali, and also a lesser boxer
He had no where near as much power Liston (who hit him as flush as possible in the 5 round) and couldn't get a KD or a KO
Buster could not beat the 60s Ali

Lol right Cleveland Williams was one of the best contenders in heavyweight history? Casual fan.

Ali embarrassed Sonny Liston? You mean the fact the fight was even at the time Liston quit? You mean the same Liston who best wins were against 180 pound Floyd Patterson and club fighter Cleveland Williams? You mean the fact Liston was old?

Ernie Terrell was not modern skilled had no punching power and wasn't even that good in his own era.

On that note you get blocked. Bye bye casual fan.

Yes, Williams would've beaten most Heavyweight contenders who didn't win the title and was better than Douglas imo (tho that is debatable)
Sonny Liston was old, yes but Tyson's best win is over Larry Holmes who was also old. And considiring you value so much on power he must be doing well in your books.

Terrell was much bigger and much quicker than Douglas. He only won 2 rounds out of 15, but you wouldn't know that coz you probably never even watched the fight. Also stating a fighter isnt any good because they have no power Is one of the most casual clichés ever. His era was much better than Douglas's (60s > 80s).

Seems to be the logical conclusion...unless you want to forever be lauded a casual!

I applaud you for having the stones to see the error of your ways.

Let’s face it! Your superior cognitive reasoning abilities are just going to waste on this forum!

But there is good news, I have heard in another thread that Quora is in need of an expert of your unique persuasion in their boxing discussions.

I feel like you would be a natural! And while we will miss you, I think this promotion would suit your intangibles much better. Good luck in your future endeavors

Tis a shame we won't have his supreme boxing knowledge and wisdom at our disposal, he could've been the greatest with our help, he could've even beaten

    Buster Douglas
