PBF is also gonna beat the brakes off of Ortiz, same level fight IMO.

It will be Bradley vs Mike Jones. That's a hell of a fight.

Whoever wins between the two will get an opportunity against Pacquiao. Not a hard sell at all.

    Naah!
    1. Bradley fight at 147 was not impressive
    2. Bradley size is perfect for 140.
    3. No ones knows Bradley except for being in a bad fight against Alexander
    4. Ortiz fight against Berto is a candidate for FOTY and had very good ratings
    5. Ortiz is a real 147 fighter coming in at 160 on fight night

    In terms of significance, yes.

However, 1) the "Bradley is just a shrimp junior welterweight" argument which kills the significance of a fight to 90% of ESB'ers and 2) it's not signed yet, don't hold your breath.

In terms of "selling it," Bradley is an undefeated top 10 P4P'er.

Agreed. PBF and Pac are going to take two good young fighters and give them a harsh lesson about the differences in class between being very good and being the best in the sport. I don't think either will ultimately get enough credit for taking out the young guns, even though one thing people have been bitching about with their recent opposition (besides the obvious bitching about them needing to fight each other) is that they haven't taken on any young, prime champions. Pac-Bradley and PBF-Ortiz should eliminate that griping. A nice bonus is that we'll see both fighters' opponents at pretty much the same size they are in the ring, so there shouldn't be any whining about pulling a guy up too far or making them cut too much weight.

As such, I don't have a problem with either PBF-Ortiz or Pac-Bradley even though I strongly favor the old guard in those fights. I think they're both acceptable fights until an agreement can get hammered out between the two.

  14. Should be a real heady fight
