Everyone's body is different and reacts differently to things, but from what I understand, steroids are typically detectable 2 weeks after use. On top of that, if Pacquiao agreed to testing up to 7 days before, he couldn't take them inside that one week window because I think he wouldn't be able to get through a cycle by the time of the fight.

I also agree that had Haymon (not GBP) actually push for the no-limit testing during the 2nd negotiations, then Arum would have readily agreed. It was clear by that time that Pac just wanted to get the bull**** over with and was willing to agree to Floyd's no-limit testing demand, which he stated after his victory over Mosley.

PEDs can easily be flushed out in 7 days using many different methods (diarhetics, blood transfusions, etc). Many will naturally be undetectable after that period anyway.

Wow, spoken with conviction like a true student of pharmacokinetics. :nut

Tell me, Dr. Quack, how can blood transfusions, which put blood into one's system, help to flush out PEDs?

We know the USADA stopped testing Floyd and Mosley 18 days up to the fight, but they would still test if you give them reason to be suspicious. With the way emmanuel has acted throughout the whole thing, wouldn't they test him 2 days until the fight?

What's so hard about the admission that Pac has been misleading to the media essentially since the first negotiations. Whether he's right, wrong, justified, unjustified is irrelevant. It's also irrelevant what PBF has or hasn't done, as the thread has little to do with PBF, the bottom line is a pattern is emerging with Manny's behavior that merrits being acknowledged. Why is it so relevant...because to some his word is taking at face value and given so much creedance simply because he appears to be a "nice" guy, the man has accumulated a track record of lies that are now fair game, no more no less. It has nothing to do with Floyd and/or his urge, nothing to do with Roger, Floyd Sr., or PBF directly, this is about Manny and his choices.

Overall you aren't incorrect, but I think the issue some could have with Manny isn't a "steriods" issue, but more blood doping/EPO/HGH type issues which are a little more complex because many of these things are found in the body naturally and are only detectable when the levels (how much) are unproportianal to normal levels, and these can even out rather quickly.

LOL at you talking about Pacquiao's pattern of behavior when all you have to base your allegations on regarding the PEDs and the first negotiations were the Mayweathers, whose patterns of behavior could only be classified as criminal.

If the sources of the original PED accusations have little credibility, as borne out by their patterns of behavior, then the entire "Pacquiao misleading the media since the first negotiations" argument is utterly without merit.

Concerning the discrepancy between Pac's and Koncz's assertions that they agreed to no limits and a 7-day limit, respectively, there is a very simple explanation that people simply choose to ignore.

Koncz was stating the fact they already agreed with Al Haymon, who was negotiating in behalf of Floyd during the 2nd negotiations, for a 7-day limit. Whereas in Marley's article, Pac was saying that he was ready to fully agree to no limits just to find out if Floyd really wanted to fight him.

However, since Haymon obviously agreed to the 7-day term, as supported by Ross Greenburg who acknowledged that there was already an agreement in place, then it was no longer necessary on Pac's part to agree to the no-limit condition.

Of course, for nit-pickers desperate to cast aspersions on Pac's character, this is simply too easy an explanation.

Floyd needs to fight in May 2011 otherwise his legacy as tainted as it is now will be forgotten. All these drug tests are a bunch of smokescreen. Brock Lesnar who drinks steroids just got demoslished last night by a smaller guy.

    Man up of STFU!

I favor Floyd to win but this cowardice really is bothersome. Frustrating.

Butt hurt gayweather hugger ? all the caps and clutching at straws ?

Mayweather is a cherry picking chicken, great fighter but he'll never be an ATG he's ducked or chose to fight people when they show signs of ageing.

Can betyour life floyd had his spies looking at mosley to make sure it wasn't the same mosley that fought margarito
