It will be cheaper to buy tickets on ebay in the next 2 months than scalping. Learn from you mistakes mate and don't **** up again. Sort the tickets before you get on a plane. Where you staying by the way?
Yeah never had this problem before mate have always booked hotels and planes etc before. Ill keep an eye on ebay etc Im staying at the Luxor bud cheers
no point going all that way just to watch on the big screen, i was in the mgm sitting exactly half way up, good tickets that were pricey but i still could of done with being a lot further down towards the ring, if you do get seats up the back they sell binoculars at the fight and would be well worth buying
yeah ill be checking ebay, we not booked our hotel yet but thinking excalibur or my rich mate (not interested in boxing) whos coming might pay for us somewhere more expensive.
I usually book direct but for the Pac/Marquez fight last november i popped into thomas cook & got an absolutle loonie toon deal of £264.00 for 6 nights in New York New York & was mighty impressed with the place. MGM had ramped up their rates by 100% compared with the Pac/Mosley fight where i paid $700 for 5 nights & for Pac/Marquez the ****s wanted $1450 + daily resort fee + tax:twisted: Can't get a flight date out yet with Virgin as i want to use my airmiles for an up-grade but even so it's still around £750.00 just for economy:twisted:
yeah im not flying direct, so can thomas cook just directly book the hotel for you even if you have your own flighta? might give that a go and see what htey say.
Think they give away alot of the tickets as promotional to valued patrons of the casinos. That's why you see these bored looking middle aged women not even watching in the audience.
If you're willing to pay a bit over the top but are worried by fakes, maybe the hotel concierge will be able to help? I can;t see them landing you with fakes? not sure what the mark up will be though. I was there for Mayweather vs Hatton in 2007, we got our tickets over here as part of a package, but got talking to a few chaps the day before the fight who picked up tickets, as it turns out they was very close to our seats (same block, one row back and a few seats across), but when in the arena, I couldn't see them, so going on that I reckon they purchased fakes....or resold them? We had the cheapest seats out there and probably the worst of the cheap ones (near the back in a corner), but I wouldn't say the view was terrible, of course would have wanted better but there you go.... I can;t promise anything, but one of my workmates has a cousin who lives in Vegas, he gets offered fight tickets all the time, I'll ask her to ask him if he gets offered them and he isn;t going, to snap them up, but as I say, can;t promise anything.
Yeh they'll take yer money just for the hotel. I want to fly direct now, it's well worth the xtra & i'am in vegas by 2pm & if i upgrade then i'am 1st ****er off the plane & immigration. I was out on the scoff & glag by 4pm Mix & Match it, if yer going with mates then a group deal may be best with queensbury & such like, but i fly solo & usually book the hotel direct on-line but Thomas Cook really suprised me with the deal they put my way. In the past i'd avoided UK travel agents as the ****ers chopped you to bits on single person supplement but TC are now tied up with a yank bunch so that was how it went down for me.
I have managed to get two tickets but there is four of us going. Its better than not having any, but we will have to see which two go in. Nice dilemma. And they are 600 dollar tickets, the $200 and $300 tickets went too quick. Fukd up ****, especially when its youre vegas debut !!!
I managed to get 3 tickets from ticketmaster, albeit after a being in the virtual queue for a few hours of trying. Ended up with the $650 tickets, cheapest I could get.
ticket network . com still has lots of seats available for a mark up that isnt too outrageous for some seats. I've used them befoe when I didnt want to risk deal with scalpers.
