Sore wrist the day after throwing hooks on pads

    I try to keep my wrist straight when throwing hooks but there will always be some without perfect form when you throw tons of them.

    Any tips? already tried extra wraps around the wrist to force it straight

    You gotta toughen your whole body up just before contact with the pad. Practice will make you better with that

    I was suffering with this for a while, for me though extra wraps worked, maybe try do them a bit tighter on the wrist as well?

    On the mitts? You really need to pay attention to how you are throwing your punches; a few wrong on the heavy bag can sting you, certainly, but not on the mitts. Is your trainer one of those that really smacks back? Even if he is, I'd really look at how you are punching. And he should be catching things like that as well.
