Even if he can come back, does he have the time? Does he want to carry on and on, and take more and more punishment? I don't want him to end up with permanent brain-injury.

Maybe I'm too negative... but if he was to change, it would have to be a radical change, and we haven't really seen much change in this fight, have we? Why?

    Come on guys.

He got exposed for what he was, like I always said.. just an overhyped individual with a punch.
For such a "slick" boxer, he eats a lot of right hands, he's gonna be punchdrunk, trust me.. I can see the way he reacts to shots that he's gonna be a sloppy mess by the time he's 50.

Oh shut it you ***gety buttard, I know you love the guy.. but he's not on that level, and Froch proved it.

If Smeagol had some thump, he'd have knocked Lucian out last night, if that had been Froch in front of Lucian, he'd have been put out cold.

well , I believe that u saw Bute vs Grachev fight and you also saw that Bute made the same mistakes against Grachev which did in the Froch fight. Grachev is no better fighter than Magee or Zuniga.

Froch is a tough warrior. He will walk thru Bute's punches and slaughter him into the ropes again.
Moving at 175 and take Dawson and then Pascal in Canada for money are very wise choices and also good fights at the highest level imo.

flashy ko is a genuine here, he knows Bute is not on the level, and is eating too much leather for his own good.

Bute had his little run in Montreal, with the IBF belt, he earned good money for his level, in fact.. he's earned a lot.
He has enough to live comfortably, he should just retire and save himself some harm.

A Froch rematch would be sinister, Froch would absolutely hammer him.

Some posters here a pure idiots. Grachev was 12-0 but was no prospect. He is 30 and have been champion in other fighting sports he's been before. He KTFO the one that many, many considered the futur of 175.

Also, people saying Bute was just average and that Froch just exposed him don't know the meaning of styles make fights. Bute beated convincingly and did better against about all common opponent he had with Ward and Froch.

History makes their trolling looks like genius, but pure contingency, pure luck, explain that. They are still troll and idiots.

As of Bute right now. I don't think he has it in him anymore. Part of his soul has been taken away in Nottingham.

Uhm no, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell, Jean Pascal and arguably Kessler were all better wins.

Bute was just a weak, overhyped egg shell chin that Froch exposed in style. Froch himself even said he was surprised by how WEAK Bute was.

I have a hard time seeing Bute win the return. You fans can take consolation in the sports history. Even though you have to look hard, it is possible to find boxers that won a return even though they where badly beaten in the first encounter.

    Patterson - Johansson.

    Louis - Schmeling

are both examples I can think off straight off the bat. Of course these are exceptions but it is not impossible.
