I like Jermain, he's a good guy! How can you dislike the guy, what he did against Pavlik twice was a show of courage and he took his hat off to Kelly. His skills are vastly underrated, but to be quite honest, I haven't seen too much of Carl Froch.. but seems like he has a big mouth We'll just have to wait and see, I do however know that Carl has a dodgy defense and Jermains jab is good.
I don't even know how there's a dispute, honestly I've only seen 2 Froch fights. But even from that I can tell Jermaine will handle him easily. Jermaine by wide UD. The only person see beating Taylor at 168 is Kessler.
Jermain can knock him out cold with a left hook aswell, look how dangerously low it is when he's throwing uppercuts, if Jermain hits him with one of those wild left hooks he tried to hit Kelly with, Carl is going down.
Amen, brother! Only a bad, perverted creature could dislike a feller like Jermain! I've seen me quite a bit of Froch and let me tell you, he sure can punch and he sure can take a punch too. At times, he looks unstoppable, but most of the time, he looks like a punching bag, to be honest with you. We'll see if that punch-chin combo is good enough. Main man Taylor will not fight stupid like he fought against Kelly the first time around. Hell of a fight, brother!
Jermain shouldn't try to hurt Froch because feller Froch can seriously take a punch. Instead, he should box clever to a wide UD, staying well clear of trouble. Froch sure can bang, brother!
Indeed mate! One thing is certain, if Froch wants to win he's gonna have to work a bit on his defense, but he sure can punch.. but most of the fighters hes fought thus far has been punching bags and we know that Jermain will fight fire with fire. May the best man win :happy
Taylor to make the ref stop it in 10. I don't think he has the power to KO Froch. It should be a tense enough fight for the first 6 rounds or so, maybe even enough as both men try to find out what the other has to offer and don't want to get caught unawares. By then, Taylor starts to open up on a Froch who will "freeze" on the night. Taylor has the handspeed to really trouble Froch and make Carl fight JT's fight. CF will end up being on the defensive most of the night and he's not exactly Pernell Whitaker when it comes to defense. I really hope i'm wrong though and Froch gets the win. Hope it's in the states too.
Yeah, may the best man win; Jermain would never have it any other way and if this were a contest about who was the better man, rather than better fighter, there wouldn't be a contest in the first place, brother! You know what I'm saying?
Cannot see me that scenario there, feller. Froch won't freeze for long; he'll try and rush Jermain and push him around early. Would sure be stupid for Jermain to try and unload on Froch - feller can sure take a punch. Would rather just see me Jermain cruising easy to a decision, fighting on the outside, boxing clever. That's how you really put pressure on Froch, not by coming forward and banging at him - that's all wrong!
He won't. It's about time we put Taylor's 'reign' into perspective, and the limited Froch will do it.
A puncher with great chin shouldn't be slept on neither, do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, Jermain is favourite, but never count out a puncher with chin.
Looking at Froch's last fight. He didn't take his opponent seriously. He telegraphed every punch and just stalked him around the ring. Against Taylor, he knows he's gonna have to tighten his guard up and pick his shots more carefully. Taylor's jab will dictate this fight. Froch has seen nothing like it. Eventually Taylor, whom believe will be short of confidence going into the bout, will realise he has the tools to do a number on him. Froch, I feel, will let himself down on the night. I think he, like JT, will be too cautious in the beginning, showing too much respect. A bit like Woods against Tarver. Froch needs to do what you said, bully Taylor. Push him around the ring and befuddle JT with his awkwardness. Use his size and reach. He shouldn't start winging punches though.
Froch will be anything but shy because he has nothing to fear from Jermain in terms of one punch power. He'll try and show him who's boss, just as per usual. He'll even try to get Jermain to lose the plot and start banging - a sure recipe for a KO loss against puncher Froch. Way I see me this fight, Jermain should play it real cool at all times, without taking risks and without going for the KO. Froch likes them coming for a fight. Jermain should play the counterpuncher and get Froch to keep coming forward. Easy UD if done right.
