fair enough but like i said....abraham isnt going to take a backward step to fight sturm just like hatton won't for witter.

dont give me "you'll be seeing a lot more of me over the net if you dont read what i post".

i'm backing up everything i say and what i've said above is the bottom line as far as abraham - sturm is concerned.

sturm is milking the german public and abraham is testing himself.

thats put abraham on a bigger playing field because he earned it.

sturm foguht oscar and faded back into euro obscurity...

I was disappointed as well that Marquez quit, especially after all the stuff he said and the brave win back in the Summer... I thought the KO is definitely coming in the 7th or 8th by brutal fashion, and it seems Team Marquez was very aware of that... simply said: even with the slow pace Abraham broke him down and became super-confident. For the health of Marquez that was the better. For the crowd, that was ripping off of their money.

By the way Abraham looked very affected by the weight. IMO he should immidiately move up to 168, he seemed a bit slower and less effective than usual and was caught by some nasty body punches IMO because he was under the effects of the hard dehydration.

AA put on some big amount of muscles during the years but after an amount, it only slows you down and takes away your energy. Tom, maybe you can answer this. Why the hell doesn't Arthur try to loose some muscle weight, at least 10 pounds? He's very heavy for his height, maybe too heavy. Speed, stamina, punch output and movement are all effected by it IMO.

you can drink 6 more if you like.

its still not going to help abraham give sturm an early christmas gift that he hasn't earned himself.

'' Don't give me you'll be seeing a lot more of me over the net if you don't read what i post ''

Ok, now your just making **** up because you have been made to look stupid by a couple of people on this thread. I said you will be seeing a lot more of me if you carry on posting **** like you did and acting like an online psychologist. I pull people up when they are talking **** and ask them to explain what they said. Its a forum, its for debating opinions, not matter how stupid they are. Stop trying to put words into my mouth.

Abraham fighting Sturm will NOT be a backwards step, thats bull**** man. Why can't you see this? Pavlik is tied up so honestly who else is there who's more worthy than Sturn who brings a name, a title, and big money???

I really don't understand your problem with this fight. Boxing history is littered with underserving challengers to titles. Abraham v Sturm is the 2nd best fight to make at 160 next to Pavlik v Abraham and that fight will not take place until Pavlik has a routine confidence builder with Rubio.

What are the stars at 160 that Sturm should fight to earn a shot at a German superfight with Abraham?

I think you are flogging a dead horse, or in this case a dead kangaroo.

I've been trying to get that answer out of him. There is no logical response.

Sturm brings money, a title, a legit ranking, a win over a top 10 opponent. Nobody else in the division outside Pavlik brings the same.

Abraham may as well semi-retire as far as BADINTENTIONS is concerned. Nobody is worthy until Pavlik decides its time to fight.

abraham making a mark in the US and then talking about a sturm fight is like comparing calzaghe's situation while carl froch is calling him out.

what do you think the difference is?

i haven't "made any **** up" - like i keep saying, i'm backing everything up.

so answer what i have to say directly.

AA said he'll fight Sturm for free. Of course, it was more of a joke, but it clearly states his willingness. The both promoter and both networks seems to be very interested and enthusiastic. They talked a lot about it tonight. I was a bit skeptical because I thought it will be difficult to find all the money (around 5mill $ each) but after tonight, my hopes are high. Fingers crossed!

its about the business of boxing.

if sturm wants to fight b graders in germany (which is what he's doing) he has everything to gain by fighting abraham and abraham has everything to lose.

the only way sturm changes that is by putting himself on an even playing field.

you dont do that by fighting euro bums after 'losing' to oscar.

that was sturm's foothold to the US and he ignored it.

What exposure?! Even Sauerland, AA's manager said the fight be only locally interesting as both are not big names in the states. A win over Miranda, no matter how impressive, doesn't give you that much exposure. It's difficult to fight meaningful fight for AA at this stage, especially over the pond. Pavlik won't fight him immediately, that's for sure.

now you understand, if you put things into perspective, why joe calzaghe never fought jones or hopkins in their prime.

if you dont fight on the biggest stage you dont get the biggest fights.

jones and hopkins got major fights against opponents out of their weight class because they had the notoriety and were known as the best fighters of their era to carry that sort of weight.

why are we talking about euro fighters who dont want to conquer america again when thats the essence of making defining fights?
