but miranda is a step in the right direction.

miranda is known in the states which is why team kessler rejecting that fight was a big step backwards.

What exactly do you have to say what you want me to answer directly? I've answered everything you have had to throw my way, as have others in this thread, so why don't you answer what we are all saying and tell us who should Abraham fight knowing that Pavlik is busy? Which fight in your eyes makes more sense than a unification fight for a nice purse against the #3 guy in the division.

You're not backing anything up by the way, you're just drifting over the points and coming back with absolutly nothing.

sturm doesnt bring respect on a global scale.

dont be dismissive if you're too afraid to answer me directly - and you are because you can't do it without being judgmental.

i'll say it again - tell me why calzaghe won't fight froch and you'll understand why abraham will laugh off sturm.

Nope... AA wins big if he beats Sturm. If you ask me, I'd even put him before Pavlik who'll be fighting Rubios and Lockets of this world (and getting his ass whooped by an aging guy) if he dispatches Sturm in style. Then you'll get hardcore funs screaming for the fight with Pavlik even more than now. You may be right, however, about Sturm. I don;t think he's very keen on moving across to the States after DLH debacle.

:good I've got a good feeling it may well happen round about April/May next year. Its the most logical fight for Abraham as Pavlik is going to be going for a confidence booster.

only because thats where the money is. it's not fair or right that euro fighters should have to cross the pond to make their name there - but thats a big part of the business of boxing.

if you're not marketable internationally, meaning if you don't have an international fanbase and network backing then its always going to be eaier for a name fighter in the US to take on a weaker opponent but receive solid exposure.

This is too funny to me

Abraham is giving Sturm everything apparently. Sturm is a multi muti millionare for christ sake! He ain't fighting on peanuts out there. For a guy that claims to be an expert on the business of boxing he has no idea of the economics of this one. Sturm-Abraham makes Abraham the most money he has ever made, absolutely guaranteed. They need each other economically.

On the boxing side he brings a belt and a number 3 ranking. Nobody else brings any more legitimacy outside Pavlik. By casting him aside and saying he does not deserve a chance aren't you really just defeating yourself? How does he ever get a chance if we never allow him?

    Ridiculous.

Comparing AA to Calzaghe and Sturm to Froch is nonsense. Sorry, but it's crap - AA is no way near to JC and Sturm is head and shoulders above Froch. AA and Sturm are at around the eye level in almost all respects.

He should stay at his current stature - not bulking up more but also not try to lose any b/c and coud affect him even more...I thought he looked the same as in his recent bouts at 160...

its an example only in that AA has put himself on a bigger playing field by beating miranda twice. i wasn't comparing fighters.

only because you have to be dismissive in your replies.

i'm off to bed for 4 hours before i work in the morning and i bet you a million dollars i dont have one objective reply to any of my posts waiting for me from you.

you dont believe in what you say, you just generalise when you dont know how to respond.

which is pretty often when i post, isn't it?

apologies if i seem arrogant guys, but like i said, i'll back up everything i have to say.

    PM me - i'm off.

Doesn't matter, it just doesn't work, even as an example. And as I already told you, Sturm is a bigger name in Germany and gets more money (and viewers) per fight. The guy just got 2.1 Mill $ for fighting Sylvester! What do you think how much AA gets? The fight will be a slam dunk and bring both of them loads of money they wouldn't be able to earn otherwise (not even in that precious USA - have you checked the exchange rates lately?).

Just please don't PM me again and its cool.

I have some nice PM's in there from guys whos opinion and I respect, it really clutters it and wastes my time when I have to delete yours to the trash.

I also find it saddening the great country of Denmark accepted your entry.
