How much would Green have to pay roy to take a dive and miss his opportunity to make a few million in a megafight against hopkins?


Thats why this dive **** never makes sense with boxing stars because they have more opportunity for big money fights should they win. With journey men its different and with liston - ali 2 with liston having mob connections that is atleast feasible it was fixed as well.


But looking at it logically does green have enough money to even pay Roy for him to 1. give up his chance to win a title in yet another division and 2. give up his chance to face hopkins in a megabout. 3. even if he still does face hopkins, its lost its appeal and wont gross as much as if he beat Green.


Thats not even considering the ego thing with Roy thinking he is the greatest thing since sliced bread and that he can KO david haye at this point in his career. How could a guy like that take dive money.
