Valuev destroys the midget with his incredible p4p power and he does so with far less punches than Tyson would need against himself. Tyson has no hope against the finest heavyweight pugilist of all time. He can't box, he's too robotic. Side to side, punch, punch, punch. Anyone can do that, don't you think it's been tried on Valuev before? The only thing that works is to fight a past his prime Valuev and run and potshot. Prime for prime, nobody defeats him and certainly not one of the shortest champions of all time at that weight. Would Tommy Burns get him too? Please!

Valuev is too big and too strong. Tyson could not take McBride out with one punch, or Williams for that matter, and power is the last thing to go.

All of the Sky Sports commentary team aside from Ian Darke agreed that Valuev outboxed Haye.

Valuev has serious skill to go with that size. Don't forget it.

Fellas...does it not boggle the mind...the type of outright bigotry involved that such a fight should even be proposed? I mean this thread is even meant to be serious. It's sad. Did the World Wars really do that much damage to the image of Russia (from propaganda) that there would even be the suggestion that this okay fighter named Tyson would beat The Greatest and Biggest of them all? I am saddened, this day.

:patsch The poll is four to one for Valuev. How easy do most think it is? Mike Tyson? It's Mike Tyson we mean, correct? Not some unknown Tyson who isn't a shrimp little fellow? How many of you detractors has even seen a prime Valuev and I mean a "PRIME" Valuev? Prime Nikolay defeated Muhammad Ali in a "dark exhibition" in the eighties. It was a stunning display Ali did everything he could do to keep it quiet. And with Cosell on his side, it's no wonder most of you people have never heard of it! :patsch:patsch:patsch

Do you see the look on Ali's face? If the "GOAT" couldn't take the REAL G.O.A.T, then Tyson is not doing it.

 1 interesting fact is this may well be the shortest against tallest HW in history given Tyson was actually 5'10-5'9, imagine the height disparity

Tyson would have no choice but to walk into a 320lb man.

    Not clever.

Most of Mike's knockout victims were in the low 200s. Mike actually outweighed many a beanpole.

It's an unfair match-up considering that Valuev is 7 feet tall, 350 lbs while Tyson is only 5'10, 215 lbs. Valuev has never been knocked out and Tyson has never knocked out a man anywhere near as big as Valuev, in fact his biggest opponents Lennox Lewis, Danny Williams and Kevin McBride knocked him out. Nobody's decisioning a prime Valuev in Germany either so the outcome should be fairly obvious.

Tyson will not reach Valuev's chin. He may reach his body.
It will also be a problem for Valuev to reach Tyson.
    Interesting and weird fight.
I do not see how Tyson could stop Valuev.
It can be like Foreman-Qawi or even worse , with an even bigger size difference that will assure no way Tyson reaches Valuev's head except in the fantasies of some of the more delusional here who will say Tyson will fold him with body punches , but if Tyson will try to do it , Valuev will hurt him too and even worse , as kidney punches and punches to the back of the head hurt more than regular body punches.

I just don't think Tyson can pull a David Haye and win this fight off his back foot; the only proven way you can defeat a monster like this. I think Valuev uses his subtle but smart foot work to stay on the outside, timing the swarming Iron Mike with that long crisp jab and right hand leads at will. Valuev also has one of the best uppercuts in history and we know Tyson has trouble defending that punch, he'll score big and tie Mike up before he can retort. Tyson is tough, he walks through the abuse and scores with the occassional hook but just as Monte Barrett found out, the giant's chin is just too strong. Valuev doesn't hit quite as hard as Douglas or Lewis however his superior workrate will ensure a mid round knockout. There's a reason Wlad and Vitali are terrified of this man and duck him repeatedly, he's just too superior physically for anyone who can't jab and dance like Haye.
