Couldn't KO Pascal, Kessler, Abraham, Johnson, Ward, Dirrell etc he wouldn't KO Calzaghe. Stopping Groves Bute and a severely exhausted, shot Taylor does not mean you could stop Calzaghe. It wasn't even a 'put you to sleep for 2 minutes' punch, Joe would have beat the count. That shot is more likely to KO Ward than Calzaghe.

 

Muhammad Ali didn't KO Foreman and Frazier, there's no way in hell he will KO or even hurt Foreman. Welcome to the 70s.

 

Calzaghe was never KO'd. Froch never KO'd anyone who was as good as Calzaghe or anyone who had a chin as good as Calzaghe. It's like me saying Calzaghe or Froch would KO Ward.

 

:nono Froch himself would've got up and maybe not even gone down receiving a similar shot.

 

Yet Calzaghe was dropped by Kebabi Salem, ancient Hopkins, ancient RJJ and whoever else I'm forgetting. No one is immune to KOs especially when they fight the best and fighting the best wasn't something Calzaghe was usually interested in.

yet no stoppage for Byron for flooring the Joe earlier.


with neutral ref, froch can stop joe. hell if froch had a paid ref like joe did he would definitely stop joe.

 

It was hell of a punch but I have never seen Froch as a monster puncher and still don't now. I see him as a very solid puncher that finds his success through volume.
