Gotta land it to drop someone. Groves blocked the left hook and then had his left down for the big right hand. A top fighter wouldn't have the left down.

Groves wasn't 25% of the fighter Calzaghe was, same goes for his chin when compared to Calzaghes.... Now if Groves lasts almost 10 rounds in two different fights, and is ultra-competitive in both of them, who's to say Calzaghe couldn't go 12 and more importantly win the fight? What has a Groves done? Beat ancient Glen Johnson, wow impressive! Washed up Kessler went 12 rounds with Froch last year.... Prime Calzaghe would definitely beat Froch.

again with the woulds and coulds from the cowardzaghe fans.....

and always and forever more as more and more smws surpass Joe by doing more than him in this young division, Joe 'would' have done.....

So why didn't he? Coward I know. Oops, I mean 'How would' I know, sorry, my bad grammar.

not sure about that Calzaghe was like Aaron Pryor when he got knocked down he got up and was a man possessed.

It would have put Roy Jones in a permanent coma though.

I can imagine him being down again if Froch catches him after that. Froch is a relentless, awkward **** who hits like a mule.
But, sadly we will never know.

Funny sh!t indeed. Jones Jr hit Calzghe with a forearm and Joe still got up and WENT AFTER Jones. Calzaghe would slap the sh!t outta Froch.:rofl:nut:patsch

Styles wise Joe would be a bad match for Carl. He's got quick feet and hands. Plus like Carl he has a history of coming on late in a fight and taking it to another level when he needs too. I think Calzaghe would win UD in a tough war.
