the standards and expectations are higher for pac compared to mayweather. mayweather has lower targets to make.

If the standards are higher for Mayweather, then why does Pacquiao keep getting away with fighting guys that Mayweather recently beat? Pacquiao received very little criticism for taking on this fight. Imagine if Mayweather fought a 39 year old fighter who was coming off a 1 sided loss to Pac and a draw against a B level fighter. Many people got on Mayweather for fighting Marquez at WW despite Mayweather coming off a 2 year layoff and basically using the fight as a tuneup. Now Pacquiao, a WW champ and the no.1 P4P fighter, wants to fight Marquez at WW.

You say Mayweather has lower targets to make, yet all Pac is doing is fighting guys that Mayweather just beat.

I think what he meant was peopla expect PAC to KO people. Not whom he is fighting. If he didnt fight those people, Pac would be criticized just the same for ducking them, that's why he was beating them better than Floyd did.

actually, what i said was the standards and expectations are higher for pac.

boxing fans only expect mayweather to win on points via wide UD while pac is always expected to utterly dominate, hurt and destroy his opponents, preferably via stoppage. that's why pac is also referred to as the Destroyer.

Those are different expectations, not higher expectations.

Who the hell would've accused Pac of ducking this version of Shane? Ditto for Hoya, or a WW Marquez? Hell, when Shane was at the top of the WW division after that Margo fight, Pac refused to fight him. Then once Shane was all beat up and shot to bits, Pac all of a sudden was willing to fight him. And Pac has caught very little flak for this. Does this really sound like a fighter who is held to a higher standard than Mayweather?

Then why were fans and boxing analysts criticisng him for not KO'ing Mosley? Pac couldn't do it either and everyone has simply made excuses for him.

The *****s!?!? heard of em??? and no, Shane was no different form the one who fought Floyd and the one who fought Pac. Shane himself will tell you this. Pac was testing the higher weights that time, atleast he wasnt dragging smaller fighters up to meet him. Mayweather is expected to potshot his way to victory, even if you pit him with a 160lber thats the only prediction you'll get. People will expect Pac to KO the same opponent because Pac is underestimated in the "outboxing" category. If Pac outboxes the same fighter, fans are dissappointed while Floyd takes a pass.

haha....wow are you ******ed? so mosley on his bicycle is supposed to mean something???

so pac throws like 250 more punches than floyd did...and lands 16 more?

i dunno...i guess that impresses some people....i mean thats pacs game...overwhelm u with work.....but floyds game is efficiency

i could give two shits what shane is saying after this fight...because it was pretty clear going into this fight...he was grateful to arum and pac for the payday, that he didnt deserve, after looking like utter **** in his last two fights.....so let him praise pac all he wants and talk him up...he was doing tha **** before the fight too...and bringing up floyds name...just like arum wanted him too.....and shane plays the role and says "thanks for the check...appreciate it guys"

Yea it is impressive considering Mosley was running from pac all night long atleast with Mayweather he tryed to exchange agasint pac he didnt even try to exchange he was to scared..

So that manny actually outpunched Mayweather and took less punches then Mayweather thats a defensive fighter is very impressive if you dont think so well then I might suggest you goto a doctor and get you head checked becuase somehting must be wrong.

    lol...yer an idiot....

floyd was supposed to potshot shane all night too....thats what freddie said he had to do to beat shane...and he stood in front of him and embarrassed him

and here you go bringing up floyd making marquez move up to 147....when thats exactly what pac will do if he meets marquez a 3rd time....but floyd doing it is sinful....

floyd was more efficient in landing...fact....floyd actually had a lesser percentage of punches landed on him by shane than pac did....fact.....

you guys all claimed shane was "gassed" against floyd...yet he threw more punches....now its "ohhh well shane tasted pacs power and ran all night"....you guys have an excuse for everything...

whats your excuse gonna be if you find out it did less buys than floyd/shane?
