And how'd he do in his heavyweight debut? Sorry, but didn't he sell just 7,000 seats in the O2 against Barrett. So, there was ample evidence to question Haye's star power at that time. After all, he it could have been Enzo that we the drawn in the showdown with Haye...who knows?

At the time Haye was negotiating he bring nothing to the table,

7,000 or 1,200 - which total is bigger?

Close this thread for God's sake. The poster has no number, no quotes no evidence, and it all based on information we got after the fact, i.e., that Haye would go on to beat Valuev and defend against Ruiz. At the time he was cruiserweight champ with 2 title defenses and an unimpressive win against a faded former contender, Monte Barrett. Explain to me again why he deserved so much more?:patsch

The point is, friend, that at the time of negotiations Haye was a totally unproven fighter at heavyweight. He had an unimpresive debut against Barrett, both financially and in the ring....Of course, hindsight is always an unblemished 20/20. We can look back now and say, Haye was robbed!!!

Yet his win over Barrett is better than any of Sosnowski's wins.

I'm not arguing that Haye didn't have a slightly better resume at the time. Maybe he did...that's not the point. The point is that the goofball that started this thread wants people to believe that the Klitschkos deliberately tried to low ball and rob Haye. Yes, they did....If you look at it after the fact. If you look at it in hindsight. However, at the time of the negotations, Haye had done next to nothing, maybe a bit more than this Sosnowski fellow...therefore, he deserved a similar contract. Case closed.

Obviously not. Two Englishmen with the same opinion. That's a veritable jury. :patsch

First off, there's little activity and there next to no activity, and clearly you don't know you're history. Evander had 6 fights at heavweight, three of them against former world champions before he began negotiations with Tyson. Haye had 2 fights. Neither:hi: of them agaisnt anyone who even resembled a former champion.

I think Haye low balled himself with the ugly T-shirt ...
why would any of Klits willing to voluntarily offer a lot of money
for someone who runs his mouth only to insult them personally?

Otherwise ...if Dawid is/was so big star then why to rely on Klits offer only?
Why Haye didn't make his own lucrative offer for Klits?
Isn't GB a bit richer country than Ukraine ...?

I think what most of you guys don't realise is the number of Polish people in Germany. Sosnowski is going to draw a large Polish crowd and will help to sell the fight and earn his mill payday. Good for him, especially after the beating he'll receive.

But to suggest it is more that 38% of the pot that was offered to Haye in both instance is ridiculous. Sosnowski is more like a lottery winner with no negotiation leverage - he's lucky to be chosen. Haye had some leverage with his public outcry and popularity in the UK and that's why he was granted those 38%, almost as much as a mandatory challenger would get.
