And most of their fighters are dying to leave TR.

Glad to hear this really. Soto only has so many miles left and even though it would have been an awesome fight, I'm glad he's not wasting what he has left on a guy he already beat clearly. He's earned the right to go after the big fights, unlike so many of the guys coming up.

I hope Top Rank replaces Soto-Antillon with a fight for Mike Jones. Sometimes Top Rank fails to develope some of there east coast guys and Jones has potential to be a decent fighter if they keep giving him some exposure. Who knows, two years from now he could be the guy to knock off Manny? Jones vs Bailey?

Any chances of a descent TR PPV undercard just went out the window - and, tbh, I wasn't all to thrilled with Soto-Antillon positioned as the chief fight on the under.

Now, once again, we can expect another poopy Arum PPV undercard.

Any link to the article? It's not even on TOP RANK's Website.

There's an article over at the scene that's reporting that Soto never agreed to the fight.

Arum said Soto wasn't signed to TR, he's signed to their partner in Mexico Zanfer promotions and TR gave him fights as a courtesy to his promoter Fernando Beltran. Said what's going on is between Soto and his mexican promoter and he doesn't care what happens as Soto costs them money

It's pretty widely reported now. I believe TR Is waiting to confirm a replacement bout before announcing anything formally. Arum admitted to Steve Kim yesterday that the fight is off though.

Didn't Rios **** up his hand or something? I think they are looking at July for that fight.

I really can't see them putting anything together in 3 weeks (Clottey?). Maybe they will bump up the Cote or Benavidez fight onto the televised card :verysad
