I had Lucas winning against both Judah (where I was ringside) and Alexander. He knows how to fight. Starts slow usually, but once he gets going he's tough.
Soto was getting kind of bullied and backed up by Sasaki a few fights ago. Doesn't bode well for tonight.
I had Judah by a single point. I knew Lucas was for real when Zab nailed him with that uppercut, and the Argie just took it, smiled and went straight back to work.
I had him beating Zab 114-113, and Alexander 115-113. Most of the people at ringside at the Pru Center had it 114-113 one way or the other, with Zab doing his best work earlier in the fight.
I'm looking forward to this fight more so than the Ortiz/Lopez fight.. Soto's last 3 fights have been at 140, though Matthysse is definitely a step up.. A lot of people think Soto is going to get demolished, but he's a crafty, intelligent boxer and I think it's going to be a close fight and I can see it going either way.. Let's just hope for a good fight and that no one gets robbed on the scorecards tonight..
That was back down at 135.. He's been fighting at 140 ever since then, though I didn't see his fight with Sasaki.. Edit: By the looks of it, it looks like Soto dominated that fight and stopped Sasaki..
