    Soto-Karas throws lots of punches, has a good chin and decent power.

    I think its a pretty good fight

    Nice one.

    Berto has far more athleticism; Soto Karass far more grit.

    Classic flash vs. substance case.

    I think Berto would take a majority of rounds...but it's a question of whether he could survive twelve of them. (we're talking twelve, right? If so, JSK wears him down)

    I didnt catch the Aydin fight so I'd have a better opinion after that

    I'd expect Berto to win but at this point your never really sure anymore

    He was training with Floyd Sr, but I asked Chris Robinson, the guy who gets a lot of the sparring and interview video from the Mayweather gym if he's still training with Sr, and he said he hasn't seen him there :conf

    Styles make fights. Although I think Soto Karass' heavy hands, iron jaw, and Terminator pressure would lead him to a stoppage of Berto...I think Berto might actually do well against Jones, who's as fragile as he is and lacks the pop to get his respect or the foot speed to consistently get away from him.

    Berto can move when he wants to. For example, against Urango he fought a very defensive fight using a lot of lateral movement.

    If he fights like that then i believe JSK will have a problem getting to him.

    If he tries to throw with JSK then he gets worn down and KTFO

    yeah man, I can't wait to see him back :-(
    maybe Eddie Chambers knows where he's a. A lot of those Philly fighters are close

    Mike has pop in his punches, it's just that he doesn't sit down enough on them.

    He would have to really sit down on them in order to keep Berto honest, and even then I'm not sure he can put him down as Guerrero and Ortiz did (whereas Soto Karass definitely can, despite throwing mostly arm punches, just by virtue of accumulation and being heavier-handed than Mike) - and there would be the risk of Berto catching him with a quick hook in the process and ringing his bell.


    This could turn into a welterweight version of Dirrell vs. Stevens if Jones fights "smart". :yep
