They did sort of seem to have to walk him back to the corner. Hard to say if the glassy stare was because he was incredulous at the decision or still dazed. :think

Don't know that he looked as improved as I was hoping for; better showing than the Smith fight. Kept pretty much even pace with Estrada but definitely started landing with more impact the last couple of rounds. The finishing combo was nice and authoritative. He missed a lot in the first four rounds though, just getting overexcited and throwing recklessly...and Estrada isn't exactly a slipping machine.

Good fight.. Estrada seemed to be getting more comfortable with Soto-Karass' style over the course of the fight and I had it 3-3-1 after 7, but he got caught and hurt badly. The stoppage seemed premature, but I trust Tony Weeks' decision and Estrada didn't seem too pissed off about it. Estrada's career is getting close to the end IMO.. a few years ago this would never have happened. His durability is significantly worse than it was before and he's not as relentless as he once was. Sad finish.. but I give a lot of credit to Soto-Karass, who is a tough, tough fighter. He probably deserves a title-eliminator at this point. Soto-Karass isn't that far behind a fighter of Margarito's level, yet nobody knows him and he's not making even a fraction of what Marg is. Margarito is a level above him, but Cotto is 3 levels above Marg and at least 4 levels above Soto-Karass. Anyways.. I'm getting into Cotto-Margarito **** now and getting excited over the fight again, goodnight!

haven't seen the fight but thanks for the info huki..:good

i did predict karass would win though, i think he still have lots of room to improve, his early loses was unforgivable. He took on undefeated fighters

I would have liked to see this one it looked like a good match-up. I like Soto Karass he's a tough guy, not the most polished but very tough. He's not going to beat the elite but stick him in with anyone else and its a good fight. I would like to see him in with Berto actually.
