was antillon the one that was rumoured to fight zappa? if so zappa would be best to avoid him like the plague this guy can bang even though he came up short made me a fan in an instant

I said it before that it was best Antillon stayed away from Zappa, & i bet now they are glad they chose Ji-Hoon Kim instead.

Brilliant fight between Soto-Antillon & a candidate for Fight Of The Year Honors.

Bob Arum is trying to put together a double header on Showtime in late February 2011 with Soto vs Brandon Rios for the WBC Lightweight Title with Miguel Vazquez vs Antillon for the IBF Lightweight Title as its co-feature.

i pretty much reckon if it wasnt for soto being so good, antillon would of beat pretty much been to much for anyone in that division on that day, love the walk straight of the chair and straight into the action left hook to the body and head and personally i reckon it was foty on my opinion, beat katsidis and marquez, and these 2 are absolute beast...
i bet zappa team is relieved after watching that fight yesterday that they didnt get antillon.

Yeah have been high on Antillon's warrior mentality for sometime.
I recommend everyone to check this fight out.
Zappa at his young age is in no rush to get his IBF title shot & i believe another fight or 2 will do him the world of good.

I want to see Katz vs Sotto!!!

Would be a top fight to rebound from his loss, but the Rat Arum would never work with GB again!

going on yesterday, soto would be too much for kats, antillon vs kats would be a great rebound fight for both

Antillon is one tough *******. How many uppercuts did he take? At one stage mid fight I thought the impossible was about to occur and he had worn Soto down. But credit to both guys.

Antillion v Kats would be a war to watch. So would Soto but I think Soto would be too much for Kats. Some great match ups at 135lbs.

One of the best fights I have seen for a long time. An absolute war. Anyone who thinks Soto is over-rated is a tough judge.

    Sure was a great match.
Hopefully they both meet again down the road in a title unification (WBC & IBF) bout perhaps.
