That would be a damn good fight; however, I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but Rios is one big dude! He squeezed down to 135, but was unofficially at 151 tonight. He may have the power and strength to beat Soto.
Rios beats the **** outta him. He's stronger, quicker, has better firepower, and is younger and fresher. Soto is one of the most mediocre lightweight belt holders in history.
I dont like the way Soto has looked at lightweight. His power has diminished and he's fighting more conservatively than aggressive than he did at 130. Also I think Soto has lost his hunger hes only chasing fights with Barrera and Morales. Doesnt have that much intentions of unifying the division.
Yeah, Rios is a big lightweight. Prob the biggest lightweight since Castillo. And he's only 24. No doubt he'll be at 140 within a few yrs, or less.
