Souleymane Diop Cissokho born 07/04/1991 is a 5′10½ Light Middleweight with a 6-0 5 KO's record. Born in Dakar, Senegal and fighting out of Bagnolet, Seine-Saint-Denis, France. Soulemayne who is a 2016 Olympic Bronze medalist at Welterweight is one of the shining lights in French Boxing, France is going through something of a renaissance, with a mixture of unpleasant to watch defensively gifted slicksters, and come forward destroyers, Soulemayne is like the perfect combo of the two, he's not a balls to the wall face first killer, and he isn't some slippery defensively minded scaredy cat, he has an stiff hurtful jab that he controls range with quite well, he presses forward behind it, intelligently, using an impressive arsenal of punches that he throws from awkward angles, and his arms are long enough that he never quite puts himself in the danger zone. His hand speed is quite impressive as is his defense which is of the athletic RJJ variety. While its far too soon to tell whether or not he's a future world beater, he's gifted enough to be considered a prospect to watch in my humble opinion. Hopefully he's matched well and intelligently, he may have issues with a decent pressure fighter who can take a punch, regardless, I think he's a talent that could prove to be a force at either LMW or MW in the near future.
