Chad Dawson would take Kessler to school, and would have a very good chance at decisioning Calzaghe, even in the UK.

i dont know if dawson takes kessler to school. yes dawson is faster with better hand speed but can he adapt the first few rounds kessler had JC's number and it was only because JC has the one of the best boxing brains in the world and can fight on the outside aswell as the inside and has a very underated jab that he was able to turn the fight and end up with the win.

i do not think dawson has the brain to be able to adapt and i think his chin is not the best in the world not glass maybe like perspex it can take a few hits and can bend a bit but you hit it sweet enough and it will shatter. and i can see a kessler hitting it enough to stun dawson then finish it off with a lovely uppercut

I think Kessler vs Dawson would be a good fight, and Dawson would hang in there, maybe even hurt Kessler once or twice, for a good few rounds before eventually getting KO'd.

Joe simply throws too many punches and works too hard to lose a points decision, so Dawson's only chance would be to stop Calzaghe, and given that Calzaghe has a very solid chin, its not much of a chance really.

I really like Calzaghe, but I think Kessler wins a rematch. Joe would have to be ******ed to fight him again...Besides, at Joe's age he should beat as many possible to enhance his legacy instead of fighting the same people he already beat (kessler, hopkins). You two already had your chance, and didn't get the job done...So NEXT.

    Fight will never happen.

A Hopkins rematch is more likely to happen beforer a Kessler one, and thats unlikely to happen as well.
It's looking more and more likely that Jones is going to be Calzaghe's last fight.

I too don't think that Dawson would be able to adapt after being down by 3 rounds on the scorecards.

The issue, however, is that Dawson would never be at the stage where he is down on the scorecards against Kessler.

He is the better boxer, with faster hands and better angles. Kessler would be playing catchup all night.
