Although Takam is a tough gatekeeper he's lost three times (one of those losses is Gregory Tony) and his best win is Tony Thompson. Hearn is going to have to do something drastic if he wants to charge £20 for this as it's not really a sellable fight as it stands.

Hearn already lying claiming he told Takam's team to be in camp when he first made the Pulev deal. As if an opponent is gonna go through a strenuous 10 week training camp when the likelihood is he won't be the opponent.

    What's the situation with refunds?

what a shame... Takam is a dire replacement - esp at this notice as he will be taking it for the £

I suspect you'll be able to get a refund as it's Matchroom.

    Cheers.

I have a sneaky suspicion they won't do it with this card but please keep me updated if you hear they are offering refunds.

I don't think Takam is a bad replacement in all honesty, he's got a sturdy chin and is a little tricky and awkward. No power though.

Takam isn't on the level of even Molina entertainment wise for me.

    He's tough, that's about it.

    Would Pulev?

AJ is a PPV draw on his own.

And as I’ve said previously I’m happy for Whyte he hasn’t been thrown in

Pulev has much better career wins than Takem.

Disagree there bud, I think he can proper bang for a little fella. He has more than enough umpth to knock any heavyweight out.

I always try to put myself in the shoes of the underdog and how they could beat the favourite...i’m really struggling with Takam. He’s quite mobile for a heavy (but small) and durable too. If he could somehow make AJ work hard and survive into the second half of the fight, he could get lucky if he lands. The reality though is that he’s going to walk on to a big right hand by around the 5th round.
