    Why would I?

  2. Well he has the chance to fight Britsh level Jazza or World level McDonnell.

    Appears he's picked Jazza.

  3. I have no idea why you'd do that, but you do.

    I'm guessing daddy issues. :boohoo

Ergo you only entered this thread to attack me, rather than discuss Rigondeaux duck of McDonnell.

Seriously, **** Rigondeaux. He fought one top guy in Donaire and has done **** all since then except stink the place up.

  6. Clearly you are a keyboard warrior. Would you have the minerals to say someone has daddy issues to someone's face who said, and quite rightly pointed out that Rigondeaux is ducking Jamie McDonnell?

No, you'd probably just nod in agreement like the tepid bobcat in real life that keyboard warriors tend to be.

Still you are making it about me and not about Rigo?

Serious question- have any of your posts ever been boxing related or are they just attacks from behind your keyboard?

  7. This. Yet guys who are fighting the best opposition available to them in their weight class are much more crticised.

    Tldr

    Quit being so sensitive.

  9. We all know you did read it and the truth hurts you keyboard tough guy. Enter one of my threads again, you best be here to discuss boxing or your keyboard warrior persona will be retreating again like you are here, alexthetepidbobcat.

  10. alexthetepidbobcat has gone and run behind his keyboard hoping it will all be over soon.

Lower weights never get as much discussion.

It would be exactly the same if Gonzalez ducked Estrada for John Doe.

I gave Jamie a very good chance at pulling off the upset, he's a lot better than many people want to believe he is. Ugly ass Rigo's goblin plums have turned into prunes.:-(

  14. Rigondeaux gets plenty of attention and it's all mainly everyone is ducking him.

Well maybe a few who are on more money than him such as Frampton and Santa Cruz see it as a risky fight and don't want to risk alienating their fanbase by having to chse Rigo round to ring in a 12 round snoozer.

But out of these, who do you think is fighting the weakest oppostion available to them in the last 3 years:

    - Gennady Golovkin, who's goal is to unify the division
    - Kell Brook who has the same goal (but not with Top Rank or Haymon, who have the other belts)
    - Guillermo Rigondeaux

  15. Being that this was scheduled for the Brook-Vargas undercard my understanding was that Eddie Hearn saw it as a win-win.

If McDonnell wins great, if he loses, he still owns a belt at Batamweight- and Hearn has made Rigondeaux a marketable name to British audiences (if anyone can drag a resonably entertaining fight out of Rigo's boring butt is Jamie Mac) for Quigg to fight.

So now, if he never gets the fight with Quigg (whom if Rigo beat, Frampton may then see as bringing enough to the table to jusify the risk) that's on Rigondeaux- not Quigg, not Frampton.
