Sounds like Sergey Lapin is saying Parker is next to me.

It’s a shame that a fighter as talented and likeable as Usyk feels he needs to fight the same few British opponents over and over again in rematches that no one cares about, instead of defending against Parker and/or Kabayel in fights that everyone wants to see

I like Usyk but he is holding up the division. 3 options, either come to the negotiating table and make the Parker/Kabayel fights, or drop the belt(s) so Parker/Kabayel can fight for them, or **** off and retire. Holding the belts indefinitely fighting the same British opponents once a year is dishonorable.

 

So typical AND so brain dead of him. There really ought to be a very simple IQ test upon registering to weed out imbeciles like that. It would make for a far better forum.

 

I'm sure he can negotiate more time with Parker. Im sure Parker and team will be happy if they can pencil in the Usyk fight, even if its next year.

Can't do that if they don't even come to the table.

• AJ 2: rematch clause
• Dubois: WBA mandatory
• Fury 1: fought to claim WBC title, undisputed
• Fury 2: rematch clause
• Dubois 2: fought to claim IBF title, undisputed

so, he fought those 3 names to either claim their titles, defend against mandatory or because of rematch clause. It wasn't like he was cherry picking them.
