Yeah, I don't rate Burns personally. Nothing against him, but he beat a crap champion in Martinez and his defences have been scarily bad.

    Hahaha

    :yep True.

I think Uchiyama is the clear number 1 now, both on merit (though his resume is hardly stacked) and H2H. I think he'd comfortably beat Aoh, even though I prefer Takahiro (not as boring).

    Is Uchi seriously boring?

I watched a bit of him after hearing Kosaros wank himself silly about him, thought he wasn't too bad to watch. My tastes are kind of random though.

Another thing that pisses me off about it in terms of British interest is you're never going to see Ricky Burns against Uchiyama. Like ever. If there were 1 million Ricky Burns's and Uchiyama's all on different timelines in other dimensions I don't think they'd meet once. It just isn't happening.

Nah, he's not proper boring. I just can't get into these Jap fighters (no offence) they're too damn methodical. The pace of Uchiyama/Saldado is painfully slow early on. He's not a dull fighter, but I think his style is a bit of an acquired taste (That's just my opinion, you might love him for all I know :yep). I much prefer Takahiro Aoh, he's flawed as ****, but he's damn exciting and keeps it lively with a high tempo.

Yep, totally agreed. Couldn't see it in a million years. It'd be like Pacquiao fighting Senchenko or something, I could never picture Burns and Uchi near each other, ever.

You want to see a more Kamikaze approach?

Have you ever seen the Japanese Minimumweight Teruo Misawa? He's a proper Kamikaze warrior, like a serious danger to himself in the ring :yep. His fight with Juan Palacios in on Youtube, and honestly I'd recommend it, it's a nice scrap. Misawa is mad though, comes charging out of the blocks like a raging baboon as soon as the first bell goes.
