mayweather isnt afraid of the pacman and i think pac knows it, he knows his skill set does not match up well at all with floyds its in his best interest not to take the fight at this point it doesnt even seem as if he needs it with everyone already hanging from his nuts
floyd aint that smart. and it's not like he has the tools to keep a beast like Pacquiao off him. Pac is a TOTALLY different ballgame than the 36 yr old Marquez, Baldomir. Pac would thrash floyd and rearrange his face. floyd has no say in the matter except to duck the fight - after pretending to want it.
I'll trust the multiple sources from ESPN, the LA times, kevin iole etc, stating that Arum came to see manny with a deal in hand. (Arum saying "Obviously If I didn't believe this thing could happen or I wouldn't be here(in the phillipines)" as stated in a new article Over at the 'scene for boxing'. Roach's agent saying "Arum had a [Mayweather] deal together" when he was flying into the Philippines.(from the LA times) I'll give more weight to all of those things, than this one "source" from an author who's objectivity is suggestively in question from the way he presents his article.
floyd is not that smart? doesnt have the tools to keep manny off him? no say in the matter? :think hmmm maybe i should bet everything i own on manny then i think u may be on to something...
Manuel Perez told me the fight is on! He reckons Floyd will KO PAC in 30 seconds knock his teeth out etc
name the ****ing source cuz if it aint ellerbee or floyd himself the **** is suspect and he has signed the dotted line so this article is trash
arum flew to the Philippines to sign a network deal with the thought of seeing if manny would accept the terms floyd already signed...get the **** right floyd adapts to any fighters style and basically makes them look like amateurs at the end....how many of u ****ers thought that gatti oscar even baldomir were gonna beat him and he adapted and made all 40 of his opponents besides the 1st castillo fight look like ****ing bums
would you put it past fraud to trick everyone - LA Times, espn, Iole, etc - into thinking he wants the fight, then sneaking out the back door to duck Pac in the end? i mean we saw he did it to margarito, Cotto and Mosley, there's a more than good chance he'll do it again to duck pac.
Isn't it great how during the negotiation process for any mega-fight there are always a thousand-and-one 'credible sources' coming out of the woodwork to deliver a million conflicting messages? How nice of these individuals to keep us boxing fans so informed! Thanks you guys!

It's certainly possible, I would think, that's a lot of people to trick, including arum. Look at it this way, with any of the past opponents floyd was said to have ducked, cotto, williams, have the negotiations ever gone this far, in terms of entering negotiations and both negotatitors talking optimistically about the fight occurring (and one flying half way around the world to seal the deal)? No, he just brushes them off, or say they aren't a big enough name. This gives me some more hope that this fight will happen.
