Sources: Canelo nears deal for Derevyanchenko

Derevyanchenko is mandatory challenger. Its doubtful Canelo will drop the belt to avoid him like Golovkin did.

Also blame GGG for the rubber match not happening for cherry picking sub 90 ranked Steve Rolls. Canelo will be more inclined to fight him again once he mans up and fights somebody good.

Canelo knows GGG doesn't have the gonads to face off against the rest of the division.

I was just commenting on what he said. Unless he was saying he's running out of people to fight cause he won't fight the others. I think he's willing though.

 

Why anyone on this forum believes anything that comes out of the Canelo camp is beyond me. Callum Smith eh? Kovalev huh? Now Deveryanchenko?

This right here. Anyone thinks the low-ball offer to Kov was legit is Isal or Shadow. it's nothing more than an distraction. They'll mention names that are interesting to fans so long as they can keep the attention away from a 3rd 3G fight.

Now after a self-imposed layoff, i'm worried canelo will return w/ a 'tune up' that his fanboys will say is acceptable at this point.

 

Because nobody wants to fight him for less then 10 mil.

"No one wants to fight me"
"My priority is unifying all the titles"
"I'm not a businessman, I'm a fighter, Canelo is a businessman"
"I only want to fight important fights" (then immediately fights Roles lol)
