6 months suspension wouldn't make much of a difference he's anyway out for a while since Sergio smashed his face but it's dumb that they test for weed

Stressed out over the sweet boxer that Martinez is.. What a chump this son of a legend is.

He needs to leave the sport, and being a walking punching bag is not going to make you a champion.

MJ allows you to sleep and avoid the aches and pains of training. Trust I know!

    Meh.

Anyone testing positive for PED's should be hammered (one-year ban for a first offense, lifetime ban for a second) but recreational drugs? A slap on the wrist works for me.

Casamayor tested positive for it after he fought Bradley, he was banned for 12 months and fined $10,000- even though he no showed at the hearing.

In fact, marijuana can have a great benefit – As an elite athlete, especially one with the personality of Nick Diaz you spend your days getting beat up and constantly pressure yourself and those around you to get better, marijuana could be a real helper in cooling the nerves.

Additionally there is a health benefit, studies have shown that cannabinoids, the active ingredient in marijuana actually help reduce pain and puts lingering injuries on a fast-track to recovery.

You're allowed to pop pain pills like oxy's (basically heroin in pill form) like candy

Comes from article from mmanews. You may not like it but it does let you ignore the aches and pains of training. That might not be any physical gain but it's a mental one while in camp.

It really should come down to when he did it. Two three weeks before the fight, why not ?
