The thread about Pacquiao and black fighters made me think of guys like Mzonke Fana, Cassius Baloyi, Lehlohonolo Ledwaba, Mbulelo Botile, etc. Any idea why they could not be bigger? I know Fana was starched by Barerra in two rounds but surely a country that produces this many quality fighters can produce big stars? Is it because most choose to stay in their home countries to fight like Japanese fighters? Lack of competition that prepares them for the big time? By the way when I say lighter weights I am talking about fighters who fight below 140lbs.
When I say small I meant in weight... Ali Funeka is a damn tall freak at 6'1 fighting at the weight he is in. Guys like him and Caballero make me seem like I'm morbidly obese or something.
i would add Mabuza and Ndou to that list. also there were heavyweights like Sanders,Botha and Coetzee.
King Kong is going to punish him and send him packing back down to 112-115 where he belongs. Only reason why Vic ran up to 115 was because of Donaire.. He says he couldn't make weight?? psssh yea i believe that.lol A little guy like him.. He's in for a rude awakening.. King Kong by vicious knockout. It's going to be brutal.
