I was hoping BJ Saunders would pick up the English belt before moving to Commonwealth.

It does undermine the quality of the belt when the same opponent can be upgraded twice for the same fight.

  3. It's not a proper Commonwealth title fight unless it involves a TTG.

You look at fights that are made at commonwealth level, and you'll realise there's not much distance between English and commonwealth level fighters...look at some of the ducks broadhurst fought for the commonwealth. It's not really an upgrade just a different trinket

  5. Baaastard where does the prestigious Masters titles fit in? Our Lee had two of those (at two weights) but he never got a sniff at a Commonwealth title.

Masters, you don't have to have a ranking etc you can just get ashot don't have to fight towards a shot. Who's our lee?

  7. Baaastard, look at my username and work it from there, eejit.

  8. Leeds 9.... my commiserations ;)

  9. Baaastard, we've got a conservatory though though.

  10. Haha.... I'm formerly LS11, now a resident of WF3.

Hardly lord of the manor

  11. Baaastard, Wakey is a happening place now with the Hepworth Gallery and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park it's attracting a bohemian/arty populace, is that you?

Anyway as well as our conservatory we've got all or Lee's trophies on display, both his Central Area belts (well copies he had made) and a life size print of him in a black suit jacket (no shirt) with one of his Masters belts (both lost in first defence) on the wall, it's sickening.

  12. Not really no

I just live on the quiet part facing on to Woodkirk school.

He's had a good career, when's he out next?
