Southpaws turning orthodox on fightnight

    I seem to remember a limited boxer on Friday Fight Night on Sky doing it once.

    I'm not to sure though. I could have been drunk on said friday watching Rocky II.

    I doubt it happens much. I've heard of a few guys doing it the other way around, and becoming southpaws without their opponent's knowledge (for example, I know Michael Bentt complained about that happening to him in his pro debut and getting the loss because of it). But there really isn't much of an advantage of switching from southpaw to orthodox unless you're switch hitting. Even if the fighter sparred against southpaws, you don't really need to prepare special for an orthodox fighter since that's what the fighter usually sees anyway. Plus it's really frigging hard to switch stances effectively.
