He sparred Spat over a year before Corrales!! If PBF would have beaten Spat, there's no doubt they would have made the real fight for Spat's 35 Title. Likely in 2000, that's what they came looking TO FIND OUT!!! They then moved up to 35 and fought Augustus and went back down to get Chico as it made more sense than staying at 35 and OBVIOUSLY APPEARING TO DUCK SPADAFORA.

They didnt fight Chico til 01 as I indicated in the timeline. Now would PBF have vacated and gone down?? Not likely, perhaps he still would have fought Chico and made him come to 35. The timing of Corrales' personal problems surely played a role. They tried the same with Spadafora.

 

It's all good. The point I'm making is FACTS trump OPINION'S and SPECULATION. PBF should have faced Spat but didnt because of what happened. The fact the the MAJORITY Believe it's such an easy win makes the issue all that more obvious.

 

Got got worked yes but a beating no , Like I said before Paul is a very light puncher , what he did offer floyd was a very rugged work out but as you can see from the way Floyd laid down after the Sparring session he was more exhausted and Gassed I doubt if he was hurt at all.

How is it a possibility against an out of shape floyd ? Floyd was out on his feet from exhaustion and yet Paul could not put him down with body shot or head shot .. NOW put floyd in that same position against someone like Coralles , Shane or even Zab for that matter there's no way floyd would have finished hard session with them on his on his feet but they could chance it with a light hitter like Paul.

Paul is and always will be a head case more so then Zab , and Paul is nowhere near the fighter Zab now or then , so what was there to fear? nothing !! just more propaganda from the haters ..
