He is a gutsy slugger with enough power to crack a weak spirited upcomer. He is a durable guy that will try to upset the younger Cacace. (Is Cacace a common surname? Caca means sh_t in spanish) I've never seen fight Roberto Gonzalez Palenzuela. He is another of our young lions (31) part-time boxers. He is far more unexperienced (3-0-1) but I'm sure that he will try to get the W (that's part of our stupid spanish pride). He has never fought in the UK. He is from the Canary Islands (Best regards to Kell Brook) but last November he travelled to Switzerland to KO1 the local boxer. I'll cross my fingers to be able to watch this card from Spain. The main event and the Conlan fight will be interesting for sure.
What's the process with fighters in Spain? As in what's the medical, physical requirements to be liscensced out there, If you don't mind me asking?

The rules are available in www.feboxeo.com but there are different requirements for spanish or non-spanish fighters... For spanish boxers: - medical exam: ears, eyes, nose, hepatitis, vih, etc ( tjere's a sheet in the web to be filled by a doctor) - from 18 to 35 yo - more than 8 or 10 fights (depends on weight class) with more than 50% if the guy comes from amateur boxing -if he comes from another contact sports ( kickboxing, full-contact) should demonstrate more than 2 years of activity and his record. In order to fight out of Spain the fighter should ask for a permission to the federation more than 7 days before the fight, have a medical insurance, etc... I'm not sure about the steps that a non spaniard guy with no boxing license from another country needs to do to obtain a spanish license... but he would probably had to demonstrate that he is living in Spain, be involved with a local manager/boxing club, and demonstrate a previous experience in AM boxing or another fighting disciplines. :think

Cacace is an Italian name, he is of the Italian-Irish community which is a big community in Ireland, his father is Italian not sure about his mother there is another Irish/Italian pro called Alfredo Meli, anyway, Cacace is a quality operator, he was a top amatuer and can bang, I expect him to do very good things in the pros, he beat Stephen Ormond as an amateur and boxed for Ireland.
