Do many boxers carry on as paid sparring partners after they retire ?

Ali allegedly got in the ring with Witherspoon as Terrible Tim was preparing for Bomber in 86. But I suspect (hope) it was for distance work.

Good question. I'd like to hear more stories if anyone is currently doing so?

Mosley was making $500 a day sparring Canelo before the Floyd fight, but he only did a week. Easy money really, and it stops them from turning into Ricky Hatton.

You could imagine somebody like Jamie Moore doing light sparring with Macklin, now he's his trainer.

That's because Harrison's a fighter, that's his job, that's what he does Stevie. When Scott Harrison's 60 years old he'll still be sparring and fighting young up and comers.

Talking of Snipes, Mike Tyson knocked him clean out in a club toilet back in the early 90's.

Scott's already passing on his valuable knowledge, but no doubt he will take over from his father one day after all it's not called the Scott Harrison School of Boxing for nothing.

Not sure if former IBF champion Steve Forbes is officially retired but he still works as a sparring partner these days...

    Sad story was Harry Senior.

Got very badly hurt (Stroke) sparring Sosnowski.

He was earning money after getting made redundant.

    V sad.

He is doing better now though I believe.
